EGIS Rail has a newly created position for a Systems Integration Manager involved in various Rail projects, including the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme, focusing on signalling and communications improvements to increase capacity, reliability, and safety.
We are on a major growth trajectory, having acquired JB Barry & Partners, a leading Irish engineering firm. Our Irish team has designed Dublin's first Luas tram and is involved in key projects like the Dublin Luas extension, Cork, and other high-profile rail projects worldwide, including Riyadh Metro, Thessaloniki, Grand Paris Express, and HS2.
Job description
1. Lead all project management and contractual functions for successful project delivery.
2. Foster a collaborative culture among the project team and stakeholders.
3. Fulfill NEC Project Manager duties in contract administration and construction management for IÉ.
4. Proactively monitor and manage the project programme.
5. Assess progress payments and early warning notices.
6. Resolve claims and compensation events within NEC timelines and produce monthly reports.
7. Advise IÉ on contract-related matters.
Profile
* Minimum 12 years as a Project Manager, preferably in rail infrastructure.
* Experienced with NEC 3 or 4 contracts, especially Option C - target cost contracts.
* Degree in Project or Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Desired NEC4 ECC PM Accreditation.
* Ability to perform NEC Project Manager duties per NEC Conditions of Contract.
* Analytical skills, negotiation, communication, commercial awareness, and a robust mindset.
* Leadership in technical and quality compliance.
* Hands-on experience with NEC target cost contracts.
* Committed to continuous professional development.
