Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis Chef at Flannery's Hotel Galway. The successful candidate will assist in preparing high-quality meals, maintain food hygiene standards and support the smooth running of the kitchen. Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking a variety of dishes alongside the kitchen team and ensuring all hygiene and safety guidelines are met. This position is based in Galway and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking essential for assisting with meal preparations and handling ingredients.
* Knowledge and application of Hygiene principles and best practices in maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
* Proficiency in Culinary Skills and techniques to contribute to high-quality and creative dishes.
* Effective Communication skills for collaboration with the kitchen team and ensuring seamless operations.
* A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
* Culinary qualification or relevant certifications will be considered beneficial.
