Description
We are looking for intermediate Technical Writers with XML DITA experience to join our team on a permanent or contract basis. The successful candidates will become an integral part of one of our project teams and report directly to a team lead. They will be responsible for tasks ranging from developing courseware for leading multinational software products to creating stand-alone user manuals. Training and mentoring will be provided for tools, processes, and all relevant areas as required.

Tasks
* Create documentation for our clients that is high quality and focused on defined documentation objectives.
* Ensure documentation aligns with client styles, standards, and guidelines.
* Tailor content for the target audience and industry sector.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Develop documentation using cutting-edge tools and technologies.
* Deliver on time according to client deadlines.
* Peer-edit documentation for other information developers.
* Contribute to internal projects and undertake training on new tools and processes.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement in documentation processes.
* Assist in developing internal and external formal training materials.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in User Assistance at SAP.
* Passed the SAP technical writing test.
* Experience in writing software documentation including in-app help, user guides, configuration guides, and administration guides.
* Third level qualification in technical writing, English, IT, or a related discipline.
* At least three years’ practical experience in a technical writing environment, preferably in IT.
* At least two years’ experience with XML DITA authoring tools and CCMS platforms, particularly Ixiasoft.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to meet project objectives and milestones.
* Proactive in taking responsibility and encouraging team goals.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
