Site Engineer Role
A highly skilled professional is required to oversee construction projects in Cork. This role involves leading teams and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting directly to the Project Manager/Contracts Manager
* Setting out of works on site must be competent & experienced in the use of Total Station, GPS, & Levelling instruments
* Reviewing latest issue construction drawings & documents for discrepancies and errors
* Highlighting any technical issues and providing information for RFIs and queries to PM
* Supervision & performance management of direct operatives and sub-contractors
* Ensuring daily allocation sheets are completed in a timely manner
This position requires a minimum 2/3 years experience in a similar role Junior, 5+ years senior Irish/UK experience preferable. The ideal candidate will have experience with setting out/surveying utilising GPS, Robotic Total Station, Levelling etc. Additionally, they should have knowledge developing SPA, RAMS, inspection & test plans etc. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential. A recognised degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent is required. Additional training in HSQE related disciplines is desirable.
Requirements:
* Civil Engineering / Construction Management degree
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role Junior
* 5+ years senior Irish/UK experience preferable
* Experience with setting out/surveying
* Knowledge of SPA, RAMS, inspection & test plans
* Excellent communication skills
