A highly regarded international law firm is currently seeking a talented Banking & Finance Associate (2-5 years' PQE) to join their busy and well-established Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level solicitor looking to advance their career in a high-calibre team that advises on sophisticated domestic and cross-border finance transactions.
About the Role
This role offers standout exposure to high-quality mandates across a wide range of banking and finance workstreams. You'll be working with an exceptionally collaborative team known for their deep expertise and pragmatic approach. The practice acts for both lenders and borrowers, including major domestic and international financial institutions, private credit funds, corporates and sponsors.
Key areas of work include:
Fund finance structures, including direct lending by private credit funds
Leveraged acquisition finance
Real estate finance (investment and development)
Corporate and structured lending
Refinancings and restructurings
Enforcement and contingency planning
In addition to transactional work, there is ample opportunity to engage in business development initiatives and to contribute to mentoring and supervising more junior team members.
What You'll Bring
2-5 years' post-qualification experience in banking and finance law
Strong transactional and drafting skills, ideally gained at a leading Irish or international firm
A high level of commercial awareness and the ability to advise clients in a practical, solutions-driven manner
A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to developing client relationships
An appetite for working on both domestic and international matters
