Build safer sites. Build your career. Were looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused EHS Advisor to join our clients team on a major construction project. Your Role on Site As the EHS Advisor, youll be a key player in ensuring that safety is more than just a checklist its a culture. Youll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure every task is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation. Key Responsibilities: Lead Site Safety: Implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures across all phases of construction. Advise & Support: Be the go-to safety expert for site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation. Train the Team: Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks that are practical, engaging, and relevant. Plan for Safety: Develop and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), Safe Plans of Action, and permit-to-work systems. Inspect & Audit: Conduct regular site inspections and audits, report findings, and ensure timely close-out of actions. Incident Response: Lead investigations, ensure accurate reporting, and share lessons learned across the team. Promote a Safety-First Culture: Drive proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement. Keep Records Up to Date: Maintain EHS registers, reports, and documentation for internal use and client handover. What Youll Bring A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related field. At least 3 years experience in a construction EHS role, ideally on large-scale or complex projects. Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety regulations and best practices. A full, clean driving license. Excellent communication skills confident engaging with site crews, subcontractors, and senior management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
