We are seeking a Document Controller within Design Department.About the RoleThe role is to be a member of the design team working on medium and large-scale projects. To provide support to the Designers and Operations team ensuring that the project information is up to date and any changes are highlighted to the Design Manager for review. Ensure that all information released by the Design office meets the project BIM protocols and Design office QA policies.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining a complete and up to date source of all project information, ensuring that documents are distributed to the right people promptly, and that contractual requirements and Management System requirements about project information management and approvals are complied withProject Weekly reports for External ClientsCreate and update Office Reports for Management internal reportingFiling of all reviewed drawings and related documents as per the office policiesDistribution of hard and soft copy documents and drawings to internal and external project stakeholders promptly and accuratelyRemove, stamp and file appropriately the superseded drawings as they are presentedUpdate the server with new information as it becomes available while hi-lighting to the Design Manager prior to adding to the project folder to ensure that any VO or delay is capturedLog and tracks all outgoing RFI (Request for Information) and design team queries & Log and track all incoming responses for RFILog a register of all noted design changes raised by the Design Manager to drawings and ensure this is kept up to dateLiaising with all members of the construction team: Designers, Site Managers, Main Contractors and SubcontractorsUpdate live drawings in office on drawing file and ensure most recent copies are always availableCreate and maintain various trackers and schedulesKey Skills Qualifications & Experience RequirementsRelevant experience working with Document Control procedures and policies within a busy office environmentMust be able to communicate articulately, positively and effectivelyA keen eye for detail, with particular attention to numbering systemsAbility to prioritise workloadAbility to multitaskBe highly organisedBe able to work well both within a team and individuallyProficient in MS Office and IT literateDesirable CriteriaPast experience of working in a construction or engineering environment and knowledge/experience of electronic document management systems would be an advantageJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Company eventsWellness programWork Location: In person
