The Role:
As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive tax advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
- Providing expert tax advice on a range of matters, including income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and capital gains tax.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and computations.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and providing proactive advice to clients.
- Liaising with Revenue Commissioners and other relevant authorities.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of internal tax processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Tax Consultant (AITI) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a tax role, preferably within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
