Applications are invited for the following position: SOCIAL CARE MANAGER GRADE 3 (AREA MANAGER)
Occupation: Permanent Full Time, 39 hours per week.
Location: Limerick Community Services / Limerick County.
Essential Qualifications
Possess a relevant level 8 qualification e.g. Social Care, Quality, Nursing, Management, etc.
Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
Proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
Strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
Strong knowledge of New Directions Standards.
Relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
Relevant knowledge and experience of providing services to adults with autism and an Intellectual disability.
Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
Regular visits to staff and people supported by the services outside normal 9‑5 time frame.
Work a number of weekends throughout the year.
