Maintenance Technician The Company Our client is a long-established and market-leading provider within the industrial services sector, supporting major healthcare and hospitality organisations nationwide.

Due to continued recruitment and team growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team based in Kildare.
The Role The successful candidate will work as part of an on-site engineering team supporting a busy, high-volume production facility.
The role is hands-on and time-critical, focused on minimising downtime through effective fault-finding, repair, and preventative maintenance.
Key responsibilities include: Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Creating and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules Working on equipment including tunnel washers, ironers, steam systems, conveyors, sorters, rails, belts, bearings, and inverters Supporting calibration, repairs, and minor project work Providing guidance and support to less experienced engineers over time Ensuring breakdowns are addressed urgently in a production-critical environment The Candidate Our client is seeking a practical, production-focused technician with: A trade qualification (electrician or mechanical fitter) 2-3 years' experience working in a production or manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding skills with a sense of urgency Experience working with industrial machinery A proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to work well under pressure in a time-critical setting Candidates without prior production/manufacturing experience will not be considered.
Package Our client offers a stable and competitive package, including: Salary: €52,500 per annum (approx.
