Job Purpose
To manage daily warehouse operations in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials to support manufacturing and quality operations. It is essential that the candidate has 1 year of experience working in a GMP environment. This is a day role.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, label, and store materials per SOPs; update inventory systems accordingly.
* Pick and prepare materials for Manufacturing in line with production schedules.
* Verify product locations and documentation before shipments; escalate issues as needed.
* Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain segregation of materials based on hazard class and quality status.
* Keep the warehouse clean and GMP-ready; perform routine housekeeping tasks.
* Accurately complete all required documentation and maintain system records.
* Participate in training and stay current with relevant GMP and regulatory requirements.
* Support investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and process improvements.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain to maintain delivery schedules and resolve material issues.
Education and Experience
* Previous experience in a warehouse or supply chain role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
* Understanding of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance in a warehouse setting.
* Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office applications.
* Trained in the use of mechanical handling equipment (e.g., FLT license preferred).
* Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and cold chain supply requirements.
* Further education or certifications in supply chain/logistics is an advantage.
