We are currently looking for a General Foreperson to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage health and safety on the project.
* Understand target delivery programme, report weekly, and intervene to prevent delays.
* Attend and assist at daily whiteboard meetings.
* Inspect works on site, resolve issues promptly, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
* Complete daily allocation sheets for labour and materials.
* Manage civil engineering and groundworks contractors.
* Set up and maintain logistics walkways, including vehicle and pedestrian routes.
* Oversee works from foundations to finishes, including external works.
* Coordinate labour, machinery, and materials movement using logistics software.
* Ensure site safety and security through effective practices.
* Coordinate subcontractors and service providers for timely handover.
* Liaise with engineering team for waste management records.
* Promote excellent customer service and uphold the Cairn brand.
The Candidate:
* Trade background preferred.
* Able to meet demanding time and quality targets.
* Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
* Methodical, detail-oriented, and accurate.
* Ability to work well with people at all levels and in a team.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Willing to accept responsibility for tasks.
