Burkes Pharmacy is an independent, community-centered pharmacy group located in three locations in the center of Naas, kilcullen ,and two locations in Dublin. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Kilcullen.The ideal candidate would be seeking to join a dynamic working environment in a small pharmacy chain.
Role Summary
The Pharmacy Technician works alongside the pharmacist to ensure that prescriptions are dealt with in a timely manner. Burkes Pharmacy group prides itself on its high standard of customer care, which the Technician, alongside the dispensary and OTC team, would contribute to by advising customers on over the counter medications. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, as are excellent organizational and time management skills.
The role would suit an experienced candidate, who would gain excellent experience by working alongside a professional pharmacy team, Supervising Manager ,Area Manager and Store Manager. Experience in all aspects of the daily tasks in the dispensary and OTC required ,exceptional customer service. Team player and respect for your work Colleagues.

Responsibilities

- Preparing prescriptions
* Assisting the Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions
* Advising customers on OTC medication
* Managing purchasing, both bulk ordering and day to day.
* Miscellaneous dispensary organisational duties

Requirements
* Pharmacy Technician qualification
* Minimum one year experience as a technician
* Familiarity with OTC medication, including dosage and frequency
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
* Fluent English
* All candidates must have the right to live and work in Ireland
Job Types: 24/32 hours per week
