We're on the lookout for a talented individual to manage, maintain and optimise our database systems.

Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement performance tuning measures.
- Ensure data integrity and security through backups and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams on database schema and query optimisation.
- Maintain documentation of configurations and best practises.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of DBMS and proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with backup, recovery and security compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS RDS).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
