Role Title: Test Analyst - GT EngineeringRole Location: Abbey StreetCompany: Vhi Group Services DacBand: ITBAA full-time and temporary (2 year) position has arisen within Vhi for a Test Analyst role, the successful candidate will contribute to preparing and executing assigned test cases, reports on assigned testing progress and outcomes, ensuring the test coverage and reporting the overall quality of tested products. The successful applicant does so with guidance from peers and senior Test Analysts.Role PurposeDefines test conditions for given requirements. Designs test cases and creates test scripts and supporting data, working to the specifications provided. Interprets, executes and records test cases in accordance with project test plans. Analyses and reports test activities and results. Identifies and reports issues and risks.Assists in planning, preparing and executing acceptance tests for systems, products, business processes or services.Assists in collecting feedback from acceptance testing.Maintains a knowledge management database. Leverages knowledge of a specialism to capture and classify content, taking expert advice when required.Assists in the collection and reporting of supplier performance data. Assists with the routine day-to-day communication between the Vhi and suppliers.Supports assigned colleagues in areas of uncertainty, such as, Vhi contacts, communication channels, processes, job expectations and manager relations.Education & ExperienceBS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.ISTQB certified at relevant level.3+ years experience working with GIOS application.Strong business knowledge of renewal and billing Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values Skills and AbilitiesExperience working in an agile environment and knowledge of different delivery methodologies such as scrum, kanban and waterfallKnowledge of software Test methodologies tools and processes.Strong business knowledge of Renewal and Billing systems, with a broad working knowledge of the GIOS application.Excel skillsGood communication skills, both written and verbalGood people and relationship skillsGood communication skills, both written and verbalGood people and relationship skillsVhi is an equal opportunities employerCaitriona Ormonde will be able to support you with any quires that you have.
