The Falls Hotel & Spa are currently recruiting for a Gym Instructor/Pool Lifeguard to join our team.
The Role:
The candidate must provide an efficient gym service at all times, ensuring that every customer is aided in his or her leisure needs, with the objective of achieving maximum customer satisfaction. You must supervise the pool area, ensuring the safety of all patrons in the Leisure Club. You must keep the pool area clean, hygienic and tidy at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
* Pool lifeguard qualification - RLSS/IWS or equivalent
* Recognised gym qualification - NCEF or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in a leisure centre with First Aid and pool plant operator’s qualification; fitness classes beneficial.
Duties will include:
* Carry out duties including lifeguarding, swim teaching, fitness testing and programme design.
* Supervise swimming pool area.
* Present professional appearance and attitude at all times.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service.
* All other duties as assigned and appropriate.
* Ensure the cleanliness of the facility and equipment.

* Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of leisure industry.

* Be flexible regarding timetable and company demands (weekend availability is required).
* Follow company operation procedures.
* Ensure the health and safety of customers at all times.
* Uphold high standards of pool cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
* Attend all staff training and liaise with managers on ways to improve the services offered.
* Promote the facility effectively, liaise with members and contribute positively to providing a high level of customer service.
