Job Description:

The role of an OTC pharmacy assistant involves providing excellent customer care, product knowledge, and healthcare information to customers in a professional and friendly manner. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing expert advice on over-the-counter products and services
• Managing the front-of-shop area to ensure optimal performance, including stock merchandising, purchasing, and promotions
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
• Effective communication with other staff members and management

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• 2+ years of experience in a similar OTC environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings

Qualifications & Skills:

While not mandatory, a Pharmacy Counter Assistant course would be advantageous for this position.
