Located in Clonmel Co.Tipperary, we offer a unique blend of delicious food, fantastic cocktails, and vibrant Gelato parlour. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Cafe Manager.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As Cafe Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Cafe. You will work closely with the management team to uphold our high standards of service, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the overall success of The Junction Café.
The successful candidate will be involved in developing the business and motivating their team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
* Provide and implement a fast, friendly and efficient level of customer service in order to enhance the overall customer experience in the cafe.
* Assist management in the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
* Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
* Resolve customer complaints and address any issues that may arise during service.
* Maintain a clean and organized environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* To plan, develop and implement an efficient work schedule for the cafe in order to ensure job rotation and flexibility of all staff while maximising their productivity.
* To monitor and deliver the HACCP programme while ensuring that food safey, food presentation, hygiene and quality standards are adhered to.
* Be able to promote business with new ideas and through social media advertising.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including health and safety standards.
* Flexibility to work hours required as per business needs.
* A fluent level of english is required and a professional and polite manner is essential.
* certification in HACCP management.

Pay: €35,000.00-€37,500.00 per year
