Electrical Site ForemanColin Burke Electrical Ltd. has been involved in the electrical trade for over 20 years, specialising predominantly in commercial and industrial projects. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit experienced Electrical Site Foremen to join our growing team across the Galway region.The Site Foreman will be responsible for scheduling, co‑ordinating and supervising the work of all site staff, ensuring that all work is delivered safely, on time and within budget, along with managing equipment and materials required. Responsibilities of the role will include:Coordinate tasks accordingly to meet project priorities and plansAllocate general and daily responsibilities to site staffProduce schedules and monitor attendance of staffSupervise and train staff, as required, with particular emphasis on providing the required level of coaching to apprentice level staffEnsure manpower and resources are adequate to meet site demandsGuarantee all quality standards are met in line with requirementsSupervise the use of machinery and equipment, as requiredAct as the escalation point for any staff issues onsite, resolve problems when they ariseOrganise the supply of materials, tools and equipment to facilitate progression of works within the contract timeframesProvide sufficient notice to the Purchasing Team to enable timely delivery of goodsReport on progress to project managers, engineers etc.Champion safety implementation on siteEducation & Skills RequiredElectrical trade qualification is essentialMinimum 3+ years in a supervisory role in an electrical contracting companyAbility to manage subcontractors and large teams of electriciansAbility to read drawings, plans and blueprintsExcellent organisational and leadership skillsAbility to communicate and report effectively
