About the roleWe are looking for an IT GRC Junior Analyst reporting to the Group IT GRC Manager, who sits within the Group IT team. This is an 11-month fixed-term contract. This person will provide essential assistance in ensuring Group IT adheres to relevant regulations and audit and risk requirements. Providing effective administrative and operational support. This role would suit someone with 1+ years of experience in a business analyst role, who is adept with technology and wants to gain Compliance and Risk experience in an IT environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport the administration around key activities such as IT controls, risk events, audit and risk actionsSupport the production of required MI through use and management of, but not limited to, Excel Pivot tables, or PowerBI dashboardsWork with the IT GRC Manager to identify critical pain points and help identify effective and practical solutions to reduce or resolve.Participate in relevant committees, forums or meetings as required.Support the creation of process documents and diagrams which help support IT GRC activitiesProvide administration to minor applications, as and when requiredProvide governance and oversight of minor application and/or processes, as and when requiredWork collaboratively with the IT team and key stakeholders to better manage and approve IT risk mitigation.Role Requirements1+ years in a business analyst role1+ years' experience in process creationA self-learner i.e. ability to investigate and identify available online learning and to use it to advantage.Strong knowledge of Excel essentialDemonstratable experience working within hybrid work environmentAbility to work independently and think proactivelyGood interpersonal, written and verbal communication and engagement skillsExcellent English language skills (written and verbal) essentialBe energetic, passionate, and have a positive attitudeBeneficial ExperienceKnowledge/experience of using PowerBIKnowledge/experience of using VisioAbility to speak fluent FrenchBCS Practitioner Certificate in Modelling Business ProcessesLocationDublin, hybrid working modelEqual Opportunities StatementMonument Re Group is an Equal Opportunity employer.
