We now have a fantastic new opportunity for a Reservations Manager to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, Reservations Manager will be responsible for smooth running of reservations department in the hotel, and ensure that our guests experience the highest quality service. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reservations reporting for the hotel.

Key Requirements:


* 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated and have positive attitude
* Passionate about hospitality and excellent service delivery
* Builds and sustains effective relationships with employees and customers
* Motivates, inspires and empowers others to improve performance and achieve goals
* Provides a great work environment through demonstration of company core values
* Proficiency in property management software - Opera experience

Main Duties:

* Management of the Reservations Department team, ensuring correct rostering of team resources to meet business needs.
* Encourage employees within the department to achieve optimum revenue and service per employee. Ensure they are aware of the departments' targets and goals.
* Monitors departments overall service, interaction with other departments and team work daily. Take actions as necessary to improve.
* Ensure effective working relationships with corporate and leisure clients and all hotel guests. Identify their needs and ensure their repeat business
* To be proactive in creating a sales culture through our people
* To develop a close working relationship with all departments, colleagues and managers to ensure guest expectations are met.
* To deal with all customer queries and complaints in a timely manner in line with the hotels standards of operation.
* Ensuring SOPs are updated and all team members are fully trained.
* Provide team training on our standards and customer service.
* Working alongside and supporting Revenue Manager in all departmental projects, initiatives.
* Motivate and create engaging work environment for all the team members.
* Responsible for guiding and mentoring team members to ensure that they are continuing to learn and develop.

Regularly check the input and the quality of data points.

Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team
