Job Description:
Maintenance Technicians (perm contracts) in Food Production West Dublin and Insulation Manufacturing in Navan.
Cpl is partnering with a well-established Food Production Facility in Grangecastle West Dublin and a Heritage Irish brand in Insulation production in Navan to support full-time recruitment.
Due to business growth, both companies seek experienced Maintenance Technicians for their production facilities.
If you are a trade-qualified electrician or hold a 3rd level electrical qualification with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance within high-speed, high-volume manufacturing, these roles in West Dublin and Navan may interest you.
The roles are full-time, working on rotating shifts as part of a team of high-performing maintenance professionals.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
* Set up, install, maintain, and support production, packaging, and manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and meet operational goals.
* Provide daily engineering services in a busy high-speed manufacturing environment.
* Maintain equipment and machinery, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
* Deliver high-quality maintenance services to production.
* Ensure maintenance is performed safely, effectively, and in line with strategy, including planned work.
* Maintain tool uptime above 90%.
* Plan work activities to improve line zone performance in collaboration with supervisors or lead technicians.
* Proficiency in PLC fault finding is highly desirable.
Candidate Requirements:
* At least 3 years of trade experience as an Electrical Maintenance professional.
* Experience in Food, Beverage, FMCG, Bottling, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical industries, preferably within a Lean Six Sigma environment.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, support production, and suggest engineering improvements.
* Knowledge of Food Grade production regulations is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proven multitasking and problem-solving skills.
* PLC/Controller experience; programming skills are a plus.
* Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation qualification (e.g., National Craft Senior Trades) is essential.
* Flexibility to undertake additional tasks outside normal duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Trade-qualified Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation qualification with relevant experience.
* 3-5 years of experience in high-speed packaging or high-volume manufacturing environments.
* Willingness to work overtime as needed.
* Eligibility for full-time employment in Ireland is mandatory.
