We are seeking an experienced Person in Charge (PIC) to lead a bespoke children's residential centre supporting young people with complex needs, including autism and behaviours of concern.
This senior leadership role carries full accountability for safety, quality, and governance, ensuring children experience safe, meaningful lives supported by skilled teams.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the designated centre in line with HIQA/TUSLA regulations.
Ensure children's rights, safety, and wellbeing are central to all practice.
Support and develop a multidisciplinary team with trauma-informed and PBS approaches.
Oversee risk management, safeguarding, care planning, and family engagement.
Act as regulatory lead for inspections, compliance, and quality improvement.
Requirements QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care, Social Work, or Nursing (CORU/NMBI registered).
QQI Level 6+ in health/social care management.
3/4+ years' experience in children's residential services, with 3+ years in management / supervisory capacity.
Strong leadership, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance experience.
Full clean driving licence.
Desirable : Experience opening/transitioning centres, PBS/trauma-informed training, autism-specific practice.
