Key Responsibilities
* Routine Servicing and Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, preventative checks, and general servicing on all HGVs, trucks, and trailers to the highest standards.
* Diagnostics and Repair (Mechanical): Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults on engines, gearboxes, braking systems, suspensions, and hydraulics.
* Diagnostics and Repair (Electrical): Specialise in the diagnosis and repair of complex vehicle electrical and electronic systems, including wiring, lighting, ABS/EBS systems, and onboard diagnostics.
* Breakdowns: Attend roadside breakdowns when required (full driving licence is essential).
* Compliance: Ensure all work is documented accurately and carried out in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
* Workshop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
