Join Our Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS) AIM TeamWe are currently seeking a committed and compassionate AIM Worker to support the inclusion, participation, and wellbeing of children within our Early Childhood Development Service. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about inclusive practice, supporting children with additional needs, and working collaboratively with educators, families, and external professionals to ensure every child can fully access and engage in the early learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInclusion Support & Child ParticipationProvide targeted, child-centred support to children requiring additional assistance to fully participate in the early years setting.Promote inclusion, independence, and positive social interactions within the classroom and wider service environment.Support children's emotional regulation, communication, and developmental needs through responsive, play-based approaches.Collaborative PracticeWork closely with the ECDS Manager, educators, and AIM team members to implement inclusive strategies and supports.Contribute to Individual Learning Plans / support plans in line with AIM guidance.Liaise respectfully with parents/guardians, sharing observations and supporting consistency between home and the service.Engage with external professionals where appropriate to support children's developmental goals.Curriculum SupportSupport educators in embedding inclusive practice within the Aistear and Síolta frameworks.Assist in adapting the learning environment, routines, and activities to ensure accessibility and participation for all children.Use play-based, child-led approaches to support learning, development, and wellbeing.Observation, Documentation & ReviewObserve and document children's engagement, progress, and participation in line with AIM requirements.Maintain accurate records and reports using systems such as Salesforce.Contribute to the review and evaluation of supports to ensure they are effective and responsive to children's needs.Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:FETAC / QQI Level 5 or 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or a related field.Experience working in an early years setting supporting children's inclusion and participation.Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.Desirable:Experience working in an AIM or additional needs support role.Familiarity with inclusive practice, regulation strategies, or communication supports.Experience with record-keeping systems such as Salesforce.Salary & HoursRate: €16.88 per hourHours: Morning or afternoon shifts (15 hours per week)How to ApplyTo apply, please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for this role to: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.Job Types: Part-time, Fixed termPay: €16.88 per hourBenefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsEmployee assistance programSick payWellness programApplication question(s):Do you require visa sponsorship?Experience:Childcare: 1 year (required)Highscope/Siolta: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification:QQI 5/6 Early Childhood Education (required)A Driving Licence (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
