As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain automation control systems.
Your key tasks will include:
* Working closely with technical teams to deliver innovative automation projects
* Designing and implementing software solutions for bespoke machinery and manufacturing systems
* Engaging directly with customers to understand and meet their technical requirements
* Reviewing and enhancing current automation technologies and processes
* Providing technical support and problem-solving services to operations teams
* Preparing comprehensive project documentation and managing change control
* Maintaining a proactive, solution-focused approach to work
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Louth, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have:
* A third-level degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer Science (or equivalent)
* Practical experience in automation (Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA are beneficial)
* Networking knowledge (Cisco certification or VMware experience is advantageous)
* Understanding of robotics and safety standards is advantageous
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
* A full driving license
