Overview Of Role
The Supply Chain Management Team (SCM) Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the Cúram Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation across UPMC Ireland. You will report to the EHR Business Stream Lead. This role ensures all supply chain-related workflows—including procurement, inventory, and materials management—are accurately designed, tested, and transitioned into the new EHR environment. This role provides strategic and tactical leadership for the supply chain workstream, ensuring alignment with clinical operations, financial systems, and overall programme goals. The individual will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in materials management and ERP-EHR integration to ensure a smooth, efficient, and sustainable transformation of supply chain functions. This is an ideal opportunity for an SCM expert who understands the intersections of SCM, clinical operations, finance, and health IT systems.

General Accountabilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver the Supply Chain Management workstream within UPMC Ireland, including stakeholder identification and team establishment.
* Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical workstream leads.
* Manage workflows, end-user experience, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
* Lead decision-making on workstream issues alongside the Business Stream Lead.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
* Serve as primary liaison to SCM service providers.
* Lead engagement sessions, adoption planning, and go-live readiness.
* Recommend policy and process improvements.
* Coordinate cross-functional SCM implementation teams.
* Facilitate meetings, track milestones, document decisions, and escalate risks.
* Support training development and delivery.
* Provide hands-on support during go-live and stabilization.
Workflow & System Design
* Act as SME for SCM functions in MEDITECH and related applications.
* Design and validate SCM workflows with analysts and leaders.
* Review system functionalities and support module implementation.
* Ensure clinical supply usage aligns with processes and cost tracking.
Implementation Support, Testing & Data Validation
* Oversee system configuration, data migration, and interface validation.
* Lead testing activities, including UAT.
* Verify data accuracy and troubleshoot issues.
Documentation & Governance
* Maintain project documentation and support governance processes.
* Define and track KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years in healthcare supply chain or materials management.
* At least 2 years supporting or leading system implementations (preferably MEDITECH or similar).
* Deep understanding of SCM processes and clinical integration.
* Strong project, stakeholder, and change management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with MEDITECH Expanse Materials Management or similar systems.
* Experience with SCM to Finance data flows, barcode scanning, and clinical-to-supply cost tracking.
* Training in project management, clinical informatics, or change management (e.g., Lean, Prosci).
