Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Operations Engineer to serve as a key link between the Helpdesk, our users and Systems teams.
This position combines day to day IT Operations with System Administration responsibilities, with the potential to grow into SRE focused work for candidates interested in that path.
Job Requirements A proactive self starter with experience and interest in IT Operations, Systems Support, Cloud and Network Infrastructure, and an interest in Site Reliability Engineering and Security.
At least 5 years of experience in an IT Operations, Systems Administration, or similar technical role.
Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, along with their associated services and tools is advantageous.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions.
Linux experience is highly desirable.
Excellent problem solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and departments.
Knowledge of ISO/IEC ***** controls.
Job Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between the Helpdesk team and Corlytics users, ensuring smooth day to day endpoint operations.
Oversee end-to-end user onboarding and offboarding processes.
Manage the lifecycle of new and existing SaaS solutions, including procurement, setup, integration, access management, and ongoing support.
Administer and maintain DNS services.
Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) for Apple and Windows endpoints.
Oversee email security tools and configurations.
Administer Atlassian environments (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Perform Windows/Linux server administration, including vulnerability management.
Support backup and disaster recovery operations.
Monitor system performance, identify issues or bottlenecks, and contribute to system and capacity improvements.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Collaborate with SRE teams on cloud initiatives and projects.
Participate in incident response activities to minimise outages and ensure service availability.
Contribute to post incident reviews, identifying root causes and defining preventative measures.
Track operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Monitor system capacity and take proactive steps to ensure continuous availability.
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant standards.
Engage with Microsoft and Amazon support on technical issues as needed.
