About the Role

* Supervise daily operations within a maintenance area to ensure support is provided to meet departmental goals and objectives.
* Respond to complaints regarding equipment, work orders, and downtime due to equipment issues.
* Plan and implement projects to maintain equipment availability and coordinate with engineers for research and development.
* Implement policies and procedures to maintain production equipment compliance and financial compliance.
Purpose of the Role

* To supervise the activities, manpower, and resources within the Maintenance area.
* To ensure that all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
* To provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
* To maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement staffing plans by identifying resource requirements and justifying personnel needs.
* Develop direct reports through training, assigning tasks, and conducting performance reviews.
* Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Develop work schedules based on priorities, workload, and available resources.
Education & Competencies
">
* National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 7 qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Cognitive skills: Develops and identifies new work processes and improves human and material resource utilization.
* Influence/Leadership: Promotes department goals by selecting, motivating, and training staff.
