Job Title: Site Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with an electrical background to join our client, a leading food production company based in North Dublin.

Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, including PA systems, depositors, slicers, sealers, and metal detectors.
2. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
3. Maintenance Records and Spare Parts Inventory: Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
4. Operator Training and Support: Train and support operators and superusers on equipment operation and cleaning procedures.
5. Equipment Issues Reporting: Report equipment issues promptly to Production Managers.
6. Lean Projects and Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Collaboration with Engineering and Quality Teams: Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet production and audit standards.
8. High Care Equipment Audits: Ensure all High Care equipment is audit-ready with proper documentation.
9. Cleanliness, Security, and Inventory Control: Maintain cleanliness, security, and inventory control of tools and toolboxes.
10. Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly meetings with Production Managers to address operational concerns.
11. Additional Duties: Support with additional ad hoc duties as assigned to ensure seamless production.
Requirements
* Proven Electrical Maintenance Experience: Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or production setting.
* Fault-Finding and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
* Effective Communication: Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Lean Practices and Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean practices and continuous improvement (preferred).
* High Care Standards and Food Industry Equipment: Knowledge of High Care standards and food industry equipment is a plus.
