Company Intro / Summary A leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. The company delivers large-scale, technically complex pharmaceutical and data centre projects for blue-chip clients across Ireland and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS to join one of Irelands most respected M&E contractors, working on high-profile projects with long-term career progression. Responsibilities Manage commercial aspects of multiple M&E projects from tender stage through to completion. Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation for mechanical and electrical packages. Oversee procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration. Track project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain commercial control and project delivery. Contribute to value engineering exercises and cost-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with all contractual, financial, and safety obligations. Support senior commercial staff in preparing final accounts and project close-out documentation. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline. 35 years post-graduate experience, ideally with exposure to M&E, industrial, or data centre projects. Strong technical and commercial understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software tools. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Ambitious, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple project demands. Package Salary: Up to €70,000 DOE.
