The Role:
Reporting to the Group CFO, we are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join the Senior Finance Leadership Team and oversee financial reporting, consolidation, compliance and control functions across all group companies spanning multiple jurisdictions.
The role will own the delivery of the consolidated year end audit and support key governance areas including transfer pricing, cashflow forecasting, bank covenant compliance and selected tax responsibilities.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, a growth mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with regional finance leads, senior stakeholders and external partners.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and corporate governance
* Lead monthly group consolidation, intercompany eliminations and production of management reporting pack
* Coordinate group audit and preparation/sign-off of consolidated IFRS financial statements
* Support group tax compliance and governance including transfer pricing and strategy (with external tax advisers)
* Act as technical accounting lead across group, advising on complex areas (e.g. IFRS 16, reorganisations, Goodwill/IP, inventory valuation, URP, forward contract valuations etc.)
* Own employee-related compliance reporting (e.g. gender pay gap, pensions etc)
* Sign off quarterly covenant compliance calculations and lender certificates
* Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and other key stakeholders
* Work with business to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 7+ years' PQE
* Strong consolidation and group reporting experience within a multi-entity environment
* Proven track record of successfully leading external audits, statutory reporting and compliance
* Advanced technical capability including IFRS and local GAAP
* Demonstrated ability to lead, support and develop others
* Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with and influencing senior and non-finance leaders
Location:
Office in North / West Dublin, with periodic travel to European subsidiaries, hybrid working available
Remuneration:
Strong base salary + bonus + benefits package
