This will involve: Developing an understanding of the disease state and translating user needs into technical specifications.
Generating creative product solutions and developing test models for prototypes.
Building and testing prototypes, analyzing data, and identifying optimal solutions.
Developing and delivering project plans to meet performance, time, and cost targets.
Identifying and managing key risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborating with external resources and creating detailed specifications, procedures, and reports.
How to succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills.
You will also bring: An Honours degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
A minimum of 4 years' experience in medical device design and development.
Expertise in SolidWorks, product lifecycle data management, prototyping, and testing.
Strong design and technical ability, with knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
Data review and statistical methods skills like Minitab.
Excellent writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
