The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales across the molecular diagnostics and life sciences portfolio, working closely with clinical diagnostics and life science laboratories nationwide.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, technically strong individual who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and delivering industry-leading service.ResponsibilitiesGrow the market share within the life science and molecular diagnostics sectorsPromote the full range of equipment and productsDevelop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge across the product portfolioIdentify, develop, and maximise new business opportunitiesMaintain and grow existing customer accountsMeet or exceed quarterly sales targets and individual KPIsDeliver product demonstrations, customer training, and technical supportDevelop an understanding of current and future market trendsAccurately use and maintain the company CRM systemRepresent our client professionally with customers, suppliers, and partnersBuild and maintain relationships with key accounts and key opinion leadersAttend trade exhibitions, scientific conferences, training sessions, and workshops as requiredEssential RequirementsLaboratory experienceDegree in a biological or life science disciplineFull, clean EU driving licenceStrong drive and motivation to succeed in technical salesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleaguesWillingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland, with occasional international travelDesirableHigher degree in a biological or life science disciplineWorking knowledge of the Irish clinical and research laboratory sectorsLaboratory or commercial experience in molecular biology
