We are looking for a manager to lead our stock control team - this is a nationwide role based in Galway.
Stock Control Manager Full job description This is a key role within the organisation.
The role will also involve close and regular communication with the warehouses, finance, and sales team as well as customer service, distribution and purchasing.
The main purpose of the role is to oversee the company's inventory, ensuring accurate records, maintain stock levels to maintain a high service level, co-ordinating with various departments and optimising processes for efficient stock management.
Responsibilities Analyse stock data.
Manage Dispatches Oversee accurate returns process.
Manage floor model process.
Validate Containers Manage supplier returns.
Manage Quarantine Manage internal transfers of stock.
Manage a team of administrators.
Work closely with warehouse to streamline stock management processes.
Implement and maintain best practice for stock control processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies.
Support finance team with stock valuations and reconciliations.
Cycle counts and stock audits to identify discrepancies.
Monitor and work for most cost-effective method of stock management.
Create new stock related processes as business needs evolve.
People leadership.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Ability to work in a fast based environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in stock management software and strong Microsoft Excel is essential.
Ability to analyse and make data driven decisions.
Excellent Reporting Skills.
Knowledge and understanding of a professional supply chain environment.
Experience within a retail related environment is desirable.
Ideally a minimum of 5 years in a Stock Manager or leadership role would be an advantage.
