Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist




We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at UPMC. As a key member of the department, you will play a vital role in providing effective and efficient pharmaceutical care to all patients.


The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients. They will be responsible for ensuring that all medications are handled and dispensed safely and efficiently, and for maintaining accurate records and reports.


In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, and to participate in multidisciplinary meetings and committees as required.

Key Responsibilities:



* Provide clinical pharmacy services to all patients under the care of UPMC;

* Maintain accurate records and reports of all medications handled and dispensed;

* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and committees as required;

* Pursue ongoing continuing professional development and role-specific learning.






Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:



* Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or entitlement to be so registered;

* Specialised knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the role;

* Excellent planning and organisational skills;

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
