We are seeking a Senior Civil Water Engineer to play a key role in water and wastewater treatment, storage, supply, and collection systems on transformational programmes for critical Irish infrastructure. This role offers opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects both domestically and internationally.
Our expertise spans all aspects of water and wastewater networks and treatment, supporting sectors beyond water, including Aviation, Buildings & Places, Education, Energy, and Environment. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, providing client-side support and overseeing construction phases. Currently, we have an opening in our Cork office.
Your Purpose:
1. Design and deliver water and wastewater schemes from feasibility to detailed design, including contract documentation and construction administration, adhering to relevant standards and quality levels.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Collaborate with teams in Ireland and internationally to deliver integrated design solutions.
4. Manage projects or support Project Managers in ensuring project delivery within budget and schedule.
5. Identify, communicate, and manage project risks.
6. Follow quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring:
1. Chartered Civil Engineer.
2. Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary and Design & Build projects.
3. Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, storage, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection, with familiarity with Irish design standards.
4. Commercial, contractual, and programme management experience.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently to achieve project goals.
6. Strong communication skills.
