Job Title: Plant Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction plant equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
About the Role
* To repair machinery and equipment mainly generators to a standard set by the company.
* Maintain, service, and keep records of all construction plant equipment.
* Train apprentices in best practices and procedures.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified mechanic/plant fitter would be advantageous if you have generator experience.
* A good working knowledge of hydraulics and electrics is essential.
* The ability to maintain up-to-date records on machinery is critical.
In this role, you will work independently but also collaboratively with other team members. You must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality. A full clean driving license is required due to site visits.
