A History of Divilly's LtdFrom modest beginnings almost a hundred years ago, Divilly's Ltd has gone from a small & local operation with an emphasis on customer service & high quality, to one that covers the entirety of Ireland whilst still maintaining the same core & key family values.HIGH QUALITYWe source our meat from only the best suppliers.CUSTOMER SERVICEFor us here at Divilly's Meats, the customer's satisfaction is vital.FAMILY OWNEDThree generations of Divillys have ran the operation.IRISH SOURCEDSourcing local produce is absolutely crucial to our company visionWe are currently looking to recruit a Skilled and Dedicated Production Manager for an Area of our growing business.The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, directing, and monitoring all production and maintenance activities to maximize the use of the organizations resources to deliver finished goods to customer demand and meet established production specifications and schedules.Benefits:20 days annual leavePension SchemeStaff goods salesCycle to Work SchemeOnsite ParkingSome of the responsibilities include:Supervise all facets of production facility performance to optimize efficiency and labor utilization.Creation and management of all production-related data, including information on downtime, waste, process sheets, non-conformances, and on-hold logs, with appropriate handling as needed.Consistently uphold compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards as dictated by the company, customers, and relevant legal requirements.Lead daily production meetings, convening with area supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality assurance team, and material supply teams.Guarantee that production parameters are fine-tuned to consistently manufacture high-quality products meeting the specified standards.Ensure all costs are monitored and controlled to ensure operation within budgets.Oversee attendance, punctuality, annual leave.Conduct employee appraisals and probationary performance reviews as well as ongoing performance managementAddress employee concerns and manage disciplinary matters in collaboration with the Factory Manager and HR department.Provide recommendations and propose new initiatives for an evolving process while establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training matrices as needed.Guarantee that the handling and utilization of all ingredients and finished products follow a zero-waste approach, thereby minimizing the risk of write-offs to the business.Any other duties as required.Requirements:5+ years' experience leading a team in a similar Industry role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsLead team-based problem solvingEnthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, can-do attitudeMust be a leader who can encourage others to take ownership and responsibility.Must be enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic and have a can-do attitude.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability and process type problems, with a demonstrated ability to get to root cause.Other Details:Standard working week up to 40-45 hours(Monday -Friday)Start 7:30am-17:00pmCompetitive and progression of rates
