Based in our Dublin office, Finance Solutions, a Howden company, has a vacancy for a Mortgage Advisor to support our mortgage book and be an integral part of our wider Finance Solutions team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful Mortgage Advisor will help clients finance property purchases and switch existing mortgages.
Working within a team of advisors in a fast-paced environment, you will manage a portfolio of clients, providing advice and support throughout the mortgage process, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting administrative tasks related to new business and client reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess clients' financial circumstances, credit history, and affordability to recommend the best solutions.
2. Manage paperwork, including bank statements and lender applications.
3. Liaise and negotiate with banks to secure the best loans for clients.
4. Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering documents.
5. Stay updated on mortgage products, market trends, and regulations.
6. Achieve sales targets while maintaining quality service and compliance.
7. Meet with clients to secure mortgage business and guide them through the process.
8. Provide excellent customer service for a smooth mortgage journey.
9. Coordinate with providers for pipeline transitions.
10. Follow company compliance and documentation procedures.
11. Adhere to compliance standards outlined in the Handbook and Procedures Manual.
About You:
1. At least 2+ years' experience in providing mortgage advice.
2. Knowledge of the mortgage process, including packaging and pipeline management.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A strong work ethic and confident approach.
5. Deep knowledge of mortgage products and the market.
6. Target-driven with a proven track record.
