Description
BDO Ireland is seeking a dynamic professional to provide comprehensive business advisory services, including financial forecasting, business plan review, and due diligence.
The role involves supporting corporate restructuring, including personal receiverships, company liquidations, and examinerships. You will also assist in negotiating asset sales in compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide a range of administrative services to new and existing clients.
2. Support the receivership/liquidation team with gathering relevant information for reporting to clients.
3. Contribute to drafting business plans, information memoranda, and other strategic business reports.
4. Assist in the negotiation of asset sales during liquidations, receiverships, and examinerships.
5. Support the identification, resolution, and escalation of commercial issues as necessary.
6. Assist in preparing restructuring proposals, including detailed financial projections.
7. Develop and analyze financial forecasts to evaluate business performance, identify risks, and support strategic decision-making.
8. Review and conduct due diligence on business plans to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with client objectives.
9. Assist in corporate restructuring and reorganization, including due diligence, opportunity identification, and facilitating smooth transitions.
10. Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
11. Acquire relevant tax information for each entity and ensure all relevant bodies are informed of receivership/liquidation.
12. Submit statutory returns and payments in accordance with legal requirements.
13. Complete regular financial monitoring for clients and ensure funds are utilized correctly.
14. Complete weekly/monthly reporting as per timelines.
15. Review information analytics to facilitate case strategy and fulfill reporting requirements.
16. Report regularly to senior staff to assist with weekly case reviews.
17. Liaise with clients, legal professionals, statutory bodies, and relevant stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* A business-related degree with at least a 2:1 result or expected 2.1.
* Some work experience in a business environment is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting tight deadlines.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
* Proficiency in IT/Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Technical proficiency and a mindset of continuous learning.
