Your new role involves working with a leading Main Building Contractor on an exciting project in Galway, providing opportunities for career development and the application of skills in BIM-enabled construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Price projects, manage interim payments, valuations, negotiation with subcontractors, and final account agreement
* Knowledge of various Irish Forms of Contracts and Contract Procedures
* Proficient in all surveying packages; Microsoft Excel, Buildsoft
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design teams, clients, meetings etc.
Requirements:
* A degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying is preferred
* A minimum of 2+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor is required
* A minimum of 2+ years experience with a Main Contractor is necessary
* Contractually and commercially astute individuals are sought after
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential
