The participant will support the organisation and delivery of a variety of community‑focused events and initiatives such as the regular Saturday indoor markets, art exhibitions, repair cafés, fundraising concerts, and our community cinema. The role provides a genuine opportunity to learn new skills, work alongside experienced mentors, and build confidence in a supportive, inclusive setting.

* Assisting management in delivering scheduled community activities.
* Learning how to maintain event spaces, including light cleaning and preparation duties.

Throughout the placement, the participant will receive ongoing supervision and guidance from a designated mentor. The mentor will provide structured feedback, support skill development, and ensure that the participant is fully included in the learning process. The Green Market is committed to providing a positive, inclusive experience that helps participants enhance their future employability.
No prior experience is required. The placement is suitable for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn in a community‑based setting.
