E-commerce Optimisation Manager

Our people make the difference. Here at PHX Ireland, we strive to be a place for everyone - where each and every one of us can be our true, authentic selves, every single day.

For us, individuality sparks new ideas, shapes new approaches and brings us powerful new perspectives. It's the heartbeat of our innovation, creativity, and success. Which is why, at PHX Ireland, we don't just embrace our differences - we celebrate them.

Across United Drug, McCabes Pharmacy, and TCP Homecare, in every location and every role, the way we work makes us who we are - and that's something we are really proud of. Which is why we've summed up our ethos in our six PHX Ireland values; Customer focused, Quality driven, collaborative, ambitious, innovative, and inclusive.

Overview / Purpose of the Role

As our E-commerce Optimisation Manager, you will be the driving force behind our online store's growth and profitability. Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce, you will be a key player in a collaborative, cross-functional team, working closely with marketing, procurement, and commercial teams. This is a role for someone who thrives on a challenge, takes pride in their work, and is ready to own our online trading calendar and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive Sales and Growth: Take ownership of our digital sales forecasts, analysing market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Develop and execute a robust sales plan, leveraging digital tools and data-driven insights to exceed revenue targets.
* Optimise Marketing Channels: Manage relationships with key digital marketing agencies to optimise paid and email campaigns. You'll oversee our organic traffic growth, content strategy, paid and email marketing channels to maximize ROI and brand exposure.
* Enhance the Customer Journey: Continuously improve our website's user experience. You'll be responsible for website merchandising, ensuring content is fresh and compelling, and working with the online customer service team to address pain points and enhance the overall customer journey.
* Innovate and Strategize: Work with suppliers and internal teams to build out our promotional calendar, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. You will proactively seek out new opportunities and categories for growth, reducing reliance on single product offerings and keeping us at the forefront of digital pharmacy.
* Lead with Data: Use data and analytics to inform all decisions, from sales forecasting to promotional planning. You'll be responsible for tracking key metrics, reporting on performance, and reacting with agility to market changes.

Key Experience / Skills / Education

* A Strategic Thinker: You have a proven track record of managing and growing an e-commerce business. You can see the big picture while managing the day-to-day details.
* Analytical and Proactive: You are highly proficient in digital analytics and use data to make informed decisions. You are naturally curious and constantly looking for ways to improve performance.
* A Collaborative Leader: You are a natural team player who can work effectively with diverse teams and external partners. You are also a strong communicator who can articulate a vision and align stakeholders.
* Adaptable and Resilient: You understand that e-commerce is a 24/7 business and are flexible in your availability. You are resilient and able to recover from setbacks, seeing them as learning opportunities.
