Overview We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing engineering function within the Financial Services domain.
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of engineering culture, capability, and delivery.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping what "good" looks like over the next 6-12 months, while building an environment where engineers can do their best work.

Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the engineering function Define and articulate what success looks like for engineering in the first 6 months and beyond Build, lead, and retain outstanding engineers across squads (full-stack and software-focused) Drive a strong engineering culture, including developer guilds, collaboration, and continuous improvement Partner closely with Architecture, Product, and other senior stakeholders Be hands-on where needed, with the ability to sit down with architects and engineers to shape solutions Establish modern software engineering and DevOps practices Create an environment that attracts top engineering talent and enables them to thrive Act as a mentor and leader, inspiring teams around what they can achieve Required Experience
