Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Trainer to lead our contractor training initiatives across the U.S. and Canada. This individual will play a key role in educating contractors and partners on the proper use, installation, and troubleshooting of our venting products and systems. The Senior Trainer will also oversee the development and delivery of all training content, including in-person workshops, digital courses, and installation videos.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about hands-on training, with deep knowledge of plumbing/HVAC systems, and who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Job Duties:
1. Develop, deliver, and improve in-person and virtual training sessions for contractors, installers, and stakeholders.
2. Serve as the SME on all Centrotherm Eco Systems products, applications, and installation procedures.
3. Provide on-site training and support in real job site environments.
4. Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs based on feedback and business needs.
5. Lead the creation of training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos.
6. Collaborate with marketing, product management, and technical support to align training content with brand messaging and updates.
7. Maintain an organized library of training resources in SharePoint.
8. Use Monday.com for tracking project progress and training milestones.
9. Support technical inquiries and documentation as needed.
10. Manage logistics for training activities, including scheduling and travel.
11. Represent the company at industry events and seminars as a training ambassador.
12. Plan and manage webinars and virtual training sessions using platforms like Zoom and Teams.
13. Coordinate with teams to promote and brand digital training events.
14. Gather feedback from webinars to improve future training initiatives.
Requirements:
* Technical/vocational certification or relevant degree.
* 7+ years in plumbing or HVAC, including installation or system design.
* 3+ years in training, technical education, or field support.
* Strong understanding of venting systems, gas appliances, and HVAC best practices.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and on camera.
* Experience creating or managing technical training content, including videos.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.
* Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects independently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with LMS, Monday.com, video editing, or CAD is a plus.
* Valid driver’s license and passport.
