Logistics Operations Manager
We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of a large fleet of vehicles.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the safe, timely and efficient delivery of transport services.
* Oversee regional logistics offices and support local managers in achieving operational excellence.
* Plan, schedule and monitor resources to optimise vehicle and driver utilisation, ensuring maximum productivity.
* Ensure all vehicles meet road worthiness standards through collaboration with engineering teams.
* Manage the recruitment, training and performance of drivers and operational staff.
Requirements:
* Proven management experience in logistics or fleet operations.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data reporting tools, such as Excel and Power BI.
* Experience with route planning, vehicle scheduling and resource optimisation techniques.
