An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a well-established Large Irish Corporate based in Dublin City.
This is a key role within the finance team, responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual financial and management accounts, financial analysis, and the oversight of regulatory reporting.
You'll also supervise and support the development of other team members and contribute to broader finance-related responsibilities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Lead the preparation and review of corporation tax returns, VAT returns, quarterly tax payments Preparation of presentations setting out key areas of consideration in the preparation and approval of the financial statements by the Audit & Risk Committee Collaborate with external auditors, ensuring timely and effective audit processes.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting processes.
Identify and implement process improvements across reporting systems and financial operations.
Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Support the CFO and Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Qualified Accountant (4+ PQE) Strong initiative, organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, analytical, and Excel skills.
