Heavy goods vehicle operative

We are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods both locally and nationally.

Main Responsibilities:

* Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations.
* Schedule deliveries efficiently between designated locations.
* Closely monitor vehicle condition and ensure roadworthiness before journeys.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while upholding industry standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients is essential for seamless delivery execution. You must also maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks, adhering to company policies and industry regulations such as driver hours requirements.

1. A valid full Clean HGV Licence is mandatory.

2. Prior experience as an HGV driver or recent qualification would be advantageous but not required.

3. A solid understanding of road transport regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.,  is crucial for success in this position.

4. Maintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with customers throughout all interactions. "
