Senior IT Acquisition Manager
The role of a Senior IT Acquisition Manager is to design and deliver seamless IT solutions that support the integration of newly acquired entities. This position oversees the full lifecycle of IT solutions from strategy and planning through to implementation, support, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End IT Delivery: Develop detailed delivery plans with Project Managers, ensuring timely execution, effective risk management, and alignment with scope and budget.
* Programme Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing IT team in a collaborative environment, responsible for delivering strategic IT projects.
* Team Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the IT team, driving continuous improvement and best practices.
* Strategic Business Alignment: Serve as an IT advisor to acquisition and senior business leadership, ensuring technology solutions support strategic priorities and drive business growth.
* Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet evolving business requirements and deliver value-added services.
* Budget and Resource Oversight: Manage departmental budgets and resource planning for cost-effective and sustainable technology investments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Standardisation and Governance: Establish a service catalogue, define SLAs, and embed security and compliance into the acquisitions platform, ensuring a secure and reliable IT infrastructure.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should have a degree in Information Technology or related discipline, with at least 10 years of experience across multiple IT functions, including programme management, team leadership, and stakeholder management. Proven track record in delivering transformation projects and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
